Many Bollywood professionals have been caught in casting couch controversy, but it is not always the directors, producers or other senior people's fault, says newcomer Reeth who makes her debut as an actress with 'Aaja Gunah Kar Le'.

'It is true that a casting couch exists but the aspiring actress should be equally blamed for it because it happens when an actress is ready for it, ' Reeth told.

Trained in classical dance and martial art, Reeth came to Mumbai from Kolkata in 2004 and waited for three years to get her first project.

'I have never came across such a situation because I was sure that I would never compromise to get a role. A director or a producer never forces you for anything, it is only when you express your intention, they fall for it.'

In this action thriller, Reeth is paired with debutant Kanish Gangwal. She said it was easy for her to get the role as she got a call from the director a day after she left her photographs with him.

'Apart from one's attitude, talent and skill, luck also plays a vital role in this industry. I consider myself very lucky to get the role so easily, ' said Reeth who does not have a strong film background except for her grandfather who was an editor in Bengali films.

'Aaja Gunah Kar Le' is being directed by Surya who assisted Ram Gopal Varma and Sriram Raghavan on a number of projects.
